Karen Brown is a highly experienced and accomplished leader in gifted education. As the co-owner of GiftED Consultants Group, she provides training and support to educators and school districts nationwide.
Prior to her current role, Karen was the Director of Gifted Education for Paradise Valley Unified Schools and the Director of Gifted and Accelerated Learning for Scottsdale Unified School District. In these positions, she collaborated with K-12 administrators, teachers, parents, and students to ensure that instructional practices and materials provided appropriate challenges for all learners.
As a National Board Certified Educator, her teaching experience includes roles as a gifted cluster teacher, gifted specialist, twice-exceptional teacher, and Gifted Program Mentor in PV Schools. She is a passionate advocate for gifted learners of all ages.
Karen also teaches in the Gifted Education Master's Program at Arizona State University and consults nationally. She is the recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including the 2018 NAGC Specialist's and Master's Award, co-recipient of the 2013 NAGC Professional Network Award, and the 2013 AAGT Gifted Teacher of the Year. She has served as the NAGC Professional Learning Network Chair. A published author, she has co-authored two books: Differentiated Lessons for Every Learner and A Teacher's Guide to Flexible Grouping and Collaborative Learning, which won the 2019 NAGC Book of the Year Award.

ElizaBeth Warner, M.Ed., NBCT, is the Gifted Coordinator for the Madison School District in Phoenix, Arizona, where she leads the design and evaluation of gifted programming. She oversees district-wide initiatives to ensure gifted models meet state standards and align with the district’s strategic plan. As an advocate for gifted education, ElizaBeth provides professional learning for all educators to differentiate and enrich curriculum using depth, complexity, and creative thinking skills.
She served for 20 years in the Paradise Valley School District, where she was a Program Mentor guiding and encouraging teachers who teach in gifted programs from preschool through high school. In this role, she provided leadership with curriculum implementation, instructional strategies, and professional learning.
Beyond K-12, ElizaBeth teaches in the Gifted Education Master’s Program at Arizona State University and serves as the Chair of the National Association of Gifted Children Professional Learning Network.
Driven by a passion for inquiry-driven instruction and creative problem-solving, ElizaBeth is a recognized ed-tech enthusiast. As a Khan Academy Ambassador and Google Certified Educator, she is known for utilizing technology that empowers student engagement and voice. She has presented at the National Association of Gifted Conference, Supporting the Needs of the Gifted (SENG), and the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented (AAGT) conferences.
ElizaBeth holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment and a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Communications from Grand Canyon University.
